When it comes to heading to a park in Los Angeles, you should not be fooled into thinking that it would just be an empty space with just grass and some trees. There are some LA parks where rental bus visitors can not only relax, but also enjoy other activities such as golfing, picnics and even pony rides.

Some of the most popular parks that are a favorite with both locals and charter bus visitors are:

  • Exposition Park
  • Griffith Park
  • Grand Park

Exposition Park

Located in South Los Angeles, the Exposition Park houses many interesting attractions to visit. This 160-acre land has mostly cultural and learning centers such as these and more.

  • Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
  • Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena
  • California Science Center
  • Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

Another place in Exposition Park to not miss is the Exposition Park Rose Garden. This sunken garden is one of LA’s best-kept secret, with more than 20,000 rose bushes of over 200 varieties. A popular location for weddings and events, this garden also features four gazebos, a central fountains with several statues scattered around the park.

Griffith Park

As the second largest park in California, it is no wonder it has become one of the favorites of coach bus visitors. Griffith Park houses the most number of attractions since it has such a large ground area of 4,310 acres. Other than the famous Griffith Observatory, there are other things you can do such as hiking, visiting the LA Zoo, the Autry Western Museum, pony rides, golf course and driving range, as well as the famous Travel Town where it features exhibits of old trains, model trains and train rides for children.

Grand Park

Considered as a new park in LA, Grand Park is located right in the middle of the city. It provides visitors with beautiful views, as well as four distinct areas that houses attractions such as the Arthur J. Will Memorial Fountain with a wadeable membrane pool, a community terrace planted with drought tolerant plants, a small performance lawn for intimate gatherings, and a grand event lawn.
